Representation before the Immigration and Refugee Board.
Since July 2023, appearing before the Immigration and Refugee Board has been a restricted area of practice, and only consultants holding the RCIC-IRB class of licence may represent a client at a hearing. Jermaine holds it, which means your file does not have to be handed to someone else if it reaches this stage.
This covers refugee protection claims at the Refugee Protection Division, appeals of a refused claim at the Refugee Appeal Division, detention reviews and admissibility hearings at the Immigration Division, and sponsorship appeals at the Immigration Appeal Division.
